"...He seems to sincerely desire readers to understand and embrace the vastness of God’s love for them."
“With fresh insight into Scripture, Tom Sedaker explores the dynamics of Adam’s and Eve’s fall, and how their plunge into darkness still affects our lives today. The chapters that focused on angels, heaven and hell, and mercy versus judgment were probably the most impactful for me.
This is not a book to skim and race through. I suggest taking a chapter—or even sections of chapters—at a time and then mediating on the messages shared. The author is clearly a deep thinker, and his intellect shines on the pages. But more importantly, his passion for sharing the Word and his strong compassion for people fill the book. He seems to sincerely desire readers to understand and embrace the vastness of God’s love for them. This book is for those willing to be challenged in their thinking and beliefs. Then, as the author states, come to our own conclusions.

"It will captivate readers with a truth so profound that it is a must-read for all who desire to understand—believers and non-believers alike."
“Tom Sedaker has written an engaging and informative book. Each chapter thoughtfully builds upon the last, culminating in a powerful conclusion that brings to mind the word “Crescendo.” This book is written for those earnestly seeking the truth about humanity and their Creator. It will captivate readers with a truth so profound that it is a must-read for all who desire to understand—believers and non-believers alike.
Reading Tom’s book feels like having a conversation with him. His voice, thoughts, and personality shine through, making it clear that these words come directly from him, written with sincerity and passion— straight from his heart.
Truth, layer by layer, line by line, and detail by detail, and backed by scripture. The answers he provides to the many questions humanity must ask—about our beginnings, God’s mindfulness, His love, and the depth of His desire for a relationship with us—are compelling.
This book will challenge and encourage readers to reevaluate their beliefs. If you are willing, its truths will prompt you to dig deeper—perhaps deeper than ever before. I strongly urge you to read the book in its entirety.”

"After years of standing on the sidelines, I was reminded through the very words of Scripture that I am still needed—that there is a purpose, a battle, and a calling worth embracing."
“There is an ancient Mycenaean axiom that men spend their lives preparing for a righteous battle. I often reflected on that idea, yet, over time I found myself hardened by mortgages, deadlines, addictions, failures, and regrets. The battle of life had begun to feel ordinary and meaningless … and in many ways, it was because I had been squandering the purpose God had given me. Then I read this book! Guided through Scripture by a gifted teacher, I found myself reconnecting with the God of my youth.
After years of standing on the sidelines, I was reminded through the very words of Scripture that I am still needed—that there is a purpose, a battle, and a calling worth embracing. Reading this book felt as though God Himself was the coach welcoming me back into the game reminding me that there was still time to take the field and contribute. Thank you, Tom Sedaker, for taking the time to guide me to the place where I now stand. Well done!”

"I am now beginning to think outside the box."
“What I have enjoyed most about reading ‘What is Man that Thou Art Mindful of Him,’ is that I am now beginning to think outside the box. The questions I had never able to answer on my own, Tom very effectively addressed, leaving me with a much clearer understanding of what God is doing and where I fit into the grand scheme of things. I should also confess, I have read the book twice and I am seriously thinking about reading it a third time. Thank you, Tom. I can’t wait for Part Two!”

"...from the moment I opened the book, little golden nuggets of truth started to jump from the pages and into my thoughts."
“I am not an avid reader, yet to my surprise, from the moment I opened the book, little golden nuggets of truth started to jump from the pages and into my thoughts. A bit surprised, I started to write them down so I could think about them later, but there were so many that I started taking little snapshots of them with my phone. I know that sounds crazy, but I just found it easier haha. Here is the surprising part. By the time I got to the third chapter, I was already thinking about reading the book over again. Me! The one who didn’t like to read, wanting to read this book again! The book is that good.”

"...I believe this manuscript is a powerful resource for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of truth through divine revelation..."
“Since my conversion in Christ, I have often wrestled with the Genesis account of Adam and Eve. However, reading this book “What is man that thou art mindful of him,” has provided me with significant new insights into the Scriptures. The sheer depth of the material alone led me to read it twice, each reading revealing nuances I missed with more conventional trains of thought and interpretations.
Having said this, I believe this manuscript is a powerful resource for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of truth through divine revelation rather than wading through more traditional, liberal, theological perspectives. Thank you, Tom Sedaker. Well done!”

"Wow! This is my second reading of Tom’s book, “What is Man"'...
“Wow! This is my second reading of Tom’s book, “What is Man,” which I had the privilege of reading when it was originally published. Back then, I thought it was good. However, in this re-write, Tom has upped his game and written a very clear and succinct “work” that remains deeply biblical and grounded in the truth of God’s Word.
On a personal note, I have known Tom Sedaker for 20 years and have found him to be one of the most biblically passionate men for God’s Word I have ever known. While I tend to accept what I read in Scripture at face value, Tom is the one who stops and asks, “Why is this so?” This inquisitiveness has often sparked thoughtful conversations between us as his willingness to question Scripture has opened my eyes to perspectives I might have otherwise missed, a curiosity that continues to challenge me to look beyond the surface and consider deeper meanings within the Scriptures.
This book is no exception to that dynamic. Not only does Tom ask the hard “why” questions throughout its pages, he brilliantly backs up his insights with biblical passages that answer these questions but leaves it to the reader to determine if his usage of Scripture has been used correctly or not; I like that! I think you will too!
This approach to uncovering God’s hidden mysteries is also why it is easy for me to recommend this book to any serious student of the Bible who desires a deeper dive into God’s Word, a closer relationship with their Maker, and/or simply a stronger understanding of God’s Master Plan for mankind and the cosmos at large. Well done, Tom!”

"This book resonated with my spirit in a way few have."
“Wow! This book resonated with my spirit in a way few have. Tom shares revelations that connect the dots. It is wonderfully written. Not an easy read, in that it is very meaty and you have to chew on the thoughts until it sinks deep into your spirit. He helps you find answers to questions you may not have even known you had. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to discover their personal depths standing in the limitless expanse of God.”

"...his desire to capture God in a manner easily read and understood is evident in this book"
“Tom Sedaker is truly a gifted teacher of God’s Word. Through the revelation God has entrusted to him, his desire to capture God in a manner easily read and understood is evident in this book. With a unique ability (anointing) to open minds and hearts to truth, the insights contained within “Part One What is Man that Thou Are Mindful of Him,” will hit like waves washing over the shore, each stated truth bringing greater clarity and understanding to all who read.”

"This book, takes the reader on a thoughtful journey through Scripture, spiritual themes, and reflections of the human experience. It explores profound ideas about God’s gifts to mankind, the destiny of humanity, the Kingdom of God, and the gospel in a way that is both challenging and inspiring."
“I appreciated the author’s gentle writing style and the organization of the book with helpful subtitles, each helping to frame the thoughts and allow me time to reflect on each subject. While not a casual read or a simple “feel-good” story, I found it to be a thought-provoking work intended to encourage careful examination and deeper understanding. My girlfriend and I were especially impacted by the discussion on Adam and Eve and found ourselves so deeply drawn to our connection to humanity’s fall from paradise, that we ended up apologizing to the other for what happened! Seriously! On a more personal note, I have known the author professionally and personally for most of my life and can attest to his integrity, character, and devotion as a family man. I look forward to the continuation of this journey in the sequel.”

"Tom Sedaker challenges us to consider "what if" the love of God is WAY BIGGER than we have considered it to be?"
“I would say this book is not for the casual reader. If you are willing to participate in an open challenge of your faith and examine your belief system, then by all means, get this book! It explores the depth of God's love in a way that is both refreshing and challenging! It would be difficult to read this book and finish it believing the things you always believed prior to reading it. It isn't an undermining of faith, quite the contrary! Tom Sedaker challenges us to consider "what if" the love of God is WAY BIGGER than we have considered it to be? What if His plan was WAY BIGGER than merely our salvation? What if His plan had less to do with "man" and more to do with ALL of creation? I understand this is the first of a trilogy. I am looking forward to the next two!"

"For me, this book reopened the garden, and for that I am deeply grateful."
“…For those willing to think critically, challenge long-held assumptions, and consider the possibility that the promise of abundant life in Christ is not merely a future hope but a present reality, this book will appeal to those seeking more than traditional church doctrine. Students of Scripture, seekers of truth, and anyone wrestling with the meaning of salvation will find much here to contemplate. Tom’s book calls us to walk mindfully with Christ, embrace the abundance He has provided, and allow both our hearts and minds to be transformed by His love. For me, this book reopened the garden, and for that I am deeply grateful.”
